Biography of Robin Trebilcock
Deputy Chairman
Deputy chairman Robin Trebilcock originally worked as a physicist at the Atomic Energy Research Establishment, Harwell. His subsequent teaching career included posts at Sheffield and Hatfield Polytechnics, followed by a period as head of physics and astronomy at Preston Polytechnic. For nearly 20 years he was principal of a large further education/tertiary college in South Wales.
For most of this time Robin was an A level physics examiner for UCLES, and is still involved as a senior examiner for overseas A levels.
